Design principles and specifications corresponding to SMC
The first step is the selection of SMC sheet raw materials and the adjustment of the formula in order to meet the performance requirements:
Product tensile strength (Tensile strength) is 90MPa, yield strength (yield strength) is 150Mpa, Poisson ratio (Poisson ratio) is 0.3 Young’s modulus (Young modulus) 10Gpa.
The second step is matching equipment, product design, mold design, and other aspects.
(1) Equipment: For some products that require extremely high precision, hydraulic equipment for four-corner leveling is required;
(2) The shrinkage rate of the material is zero shrinkage or close to zero shrinkage;
(3) The shrinkage rate of materials and molds should be completely matched;
(4) Guarantee the manufacturing equipment of the mold;
(5) Detailed design of product structure.
